HELLO FALL

Happy Fall! I’m so excited it’s finally fall, one of my favorite seasons!! Not only does this mean the holidays are just around the corner (CRAZY right!?) buuuut I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t excited for fall fashion. I definitely think fall is one of the most fun seasons to work with – this is where you say goodbye to sandals and summer dresses (which I’m not too sad about), and hello to boots and chunky sweaters. However, living in SoCal it’s not really feeling like fall yet.. this crazy 90 degree weather needs to move on and let us get a cool down! Regardless, I’m not going to let this heat stop me from already writing a fall post 🙂

For today’s look I included just a few of my favorite things – suede, knee high boots, and of course the color black. I’m wearing a suede black skirt and a green chunky sweater both from H&M’s A/W ’15 Collection. I’m pretty sure this sweater is the first item of clothing I have owned that is green but it really caught my eye because it is not too bright and not too dull! I’m also a huge fan of the style of this sweater – I think it is hard to find a stylish sweater that also does it’s job of keeping you warm, that is why I appreciate this one! It has a lot of shape and is different but it is also extremely comfortable and warm, which is important to me since I’m always cold! I also love love love the boldness of this shade of green – it is super chic! One of the hottest trends this season is suede. If you have been following my blog, you know suede has a special place in my heart and I am so excited to wear it so many ways this season. I’m a huge fan of black suede in particular because it makes the darkest color in the book.. well.. darker. It’s super bold and sexy and I think the contrast between the black suede and green in this look really works well together. I paired the look with my Stuart Weitzman knee high boots and Chanel Boy Bag. I have a hard time finding boots that fit me well, as I’m sure many of you do. For me, the hard part is finding boots that are fitted on me. I don’t like when knee high boots are baggy and slide down after walking a few steps. That is why I am obsessed with these boots – Stuart Wieztman does an excellent job of making the perfect fitted boot with great quality. Yes, it is quite costly but it is one investment I think worth spending on because it is a staple you will always use and will never go out of style.

I’m super excited to move on from my summer looks and share all my fall fashion favorites. It’s such a fun season and in my opinion gives so many more options to work with. I can’t wait!
