WHEN IT FEELS LIKE SUMMER IN THE WINTER

Those of you who are from California probably understand why I decided to blog a dress for this weeks post.. and for those of you who are not.. it’s seriously feeling like summer in the middle of February! Thus, I took advantage of the warm weather and opted for a little something with less layers. I’ve been wanting to blog this maxi navy dress from Zara ever since I got it, but haven’t gotten the chance to until this week. I love this dress because it is one piece that is very versatile. I can wear it from day to night, pair it with flats or heels, and pretty much dress it up or down. Those are my favorite types of looks because who doesn’t want versatility in their wardrobe?! My favorite detail about this dress is the low neckline paired with the high slit, making it super sexy. Showing a little leg is always a good idea! It’s also nice that the loose fit of the dress makes it very comfortable. When transitioning the look into night, I would throw on a leather jacket or a long coat to tie the look together. Here, I paired the dress with simple strappy heels from Jeffrey Campbell and a Dolce Gabbana clutch.
